After blindly stumbling upon the world of online gambling not too long ago, more that a few headaches involving numerous run-arounds via many chat sessions and many emails were had with a casino that I won't name, as I feel best not to. The end experience though, taught me to do my homework this time around, as I wanted to give the whole online casino thing another shot - but this time, with one I would choose based on good reviews found on AskGamblers.com. So it was only yesterday I spent but a few minutes signing up for slots.lv, feeling confident that there would be no issues, especially since a good majority of the reviewers praised the platform's customer support. I'd definitely praise their exceptional website design, and simple - straight forward ease of use. The whole process from signup thru taking my first spin on a slot machine went perfect; I choose my initial bonus, plugged in the promo code with my first deposit, and while loading up "8 Lucky Charms" saw already that my dollar-deposit was matched and clearly displayed in the upper corner of the window. The next few hours after that were spent wishing for better luck, but hey, more importantly, they were spent having fun. I was definitely liking everything about slots.lv. It was late in the night when I decided to make my third and final deposit, as it was where I felt comfortable stopping and drawing the line for the time being. I took a look at the promos, and decided to take advantage of the 300% Deposit Match "Bitcoin Welcome Bonus," which it’s details can be viewed here: https://www.slots.lv/promotion/bitcoin-welcome-bonus
I made sure to follow the instructions, including the offsite creation of a bitcoin wallet thru CoinBase. I plugged in the promo code "SLBITCOIN300", with the minimum required deposit of $20, and just as easy as all had been so far, the bitcoins were sent, and about thirty minutes later, I saw my deposit had posted ... only it had posted without the dollar-deposit match. I knew this much - it was probably just not showing up the same way the welcome bonus had appeared, and so I went on with playing my last few rounds of slots for the day. Unfortunately (and definitely unrelated to this complaint) I was just about all out of funds in as little as 5 minutes. I was extremely sleepy at this point, so I decided I'd come back after I got some sleep to finish playing on my bitcoin bonus fund. And so a few hours ago today, I sat down with a bowl of cereal, and loaded up the next slot, and in about 3 or 4 spins, was presented with an insufficient fund notice. That's when I went looking to decipher where/how my bonus was applied - I looked and looked, but saw absolutely no sign or hint that the bitcoin promo was even added. I did find the receipt showing the bitcoin deposit, along with a time-stamp and details in my transaction history. This had me feeling assured (on top of already feeling assured) as I preceded to the 24/7 online chat support sessions with a friendly rep named Laura. I explained my situation, which was really just this: the bitcoin bonus was not added like it should have been. Simple - and she would agree to there being an error, going on to say, “please wait while I see about getting the balance corrected for you.” It's fair to say that a good 10 minutes went by without an update from Laura, causing the site to auto-log me out due to inactivity. This IS NOT a complaint about the wait time however, so please don't take what I just said as such. I was more than happy with the help I was getting from Laura. (It was a far cry in the way the headache casino handled things) I quickly logged back in, and preceded to re-open a new chat window. Immediately I was connected with a rep, though not Laura, I did make sure to begin by explaining that I was being helped on the issue already before being d/c, and explained the convo with Laura, re-itterating what she had told me she was going to see about doing in getting the issue resolved. This rep, Lativa, had something else in mind. He/She was quick to tell me that unfortunately, I would not get the bonus because the transaction number for that deposit, had already taken place. ( I was confused to say the least, and re-read his response a few more times before rephrasing the issue I was having, thinking perhaps I wasn't clear. Lativa replied, "oh in that case you would only need to contact for further help on fixing this for you." I replied, "yes I'd like to have this fixed; please let me know what I need to do to get the bonus corrected/added to my account." I waited for Lativa to respond, only to quickly become confused all over again, and in a moment, I began to feel like I could be getting the run-around here, as he replied that I would need to have a higher account balance for the promo to be added. He could not apply the promo because my balance was too low. I really could not believe what I was hearing from Lativa, but I did know where this was going, and to more-or-less reaffirm to confirm, I asked Lativa if I understood him correctly, and that I would need to make an additional deposit on top of the one I made last, in order to precede and have the promo corrected. As I expected, this was correct . Yep - .
I decided a simple bit of honesty was all I would leave Lativa with, and so I told him this was just not cool, and not what I expected as a solution. Lastly, I told him why this was so unexpected considering the multiple reviews highlighting the site's great customer service. Lativa let me know he was sorry I felt that way, just before asking if there was anything else he could help me with.
Though it's not the end of the world, and no, I'm definitely not crying a river over it - I feel the need to address what had happened (and to vent a bit). That being said, l'm not expecting anything to change from this, and that's okay - but I will gladly apologize if this whole thing turns out to actually, really be a misunderstanding - but I've heard my fair share of BS from the online casino before this one, and it's always one excuses on top of another, one more step and one more step - it’s like a riddle, or a puzzle with no solution.
Thank you Mario, but our princess is in another castle.
