I have been doing deposits for Bovada for more than a year. I understand the 4.9% deposit fee.
But last week I deposited $1400 and knew there was a $68.60 that would be included. I checked my statement today and it said that I was charged $1515.52. It is a difference of $47.02!!!!
I called and complained. They said to ask my bank if there are antithetical fees associated with international transactions. Bank of America said no and they will start an investigation.
I emailed service@bovada.lv like bovada told me to after I have asked BOA about fees. And to send them a copy of my statement. I emailed them and told me to call them because I called about it this morning.
I called and told the lady at bovada that I feel like being in a loop with them. She said maybe service department didn't know what was going on. So now she looks into it and after 30 minutes she told me something about my deposit being converted to Chinese currency and not dollars. She told me to call my bank and ask about Chinese rates and some bull s$&@.
Bovada basically muscled me out of $47.02. After depositing for a year, suddenly this last deposit had a fee of 8.25%.
I promised Bovada the review and here you have it. Don't trust Bovada.
