I signed up with 888 Casino, and deposited £100 (which they obviously took instantly, no questions asked). After a bit of careful play on slots and blackjack I had increased that to £500, and decided to make a withdrawal while I was ahead. Having waited almost a week for it to process and still no sign of it, I attempted to sign back into my account, to find that it had been temporarily disabled while they awaited verification of my age and identity (Would have been nice if they had informed me of this at the time of withdrawal). I submitted photographic proof of identity; my payment card used to make the deposit, a recent bank statement and my photocard driving licence...and then waited. And waited. And waited. After another week of waiting I had to email their support asking about my accounts status, to be told with a standard template reply that actually I needed to have to licence notarised. I got the licence notarised (dated, signed and stamped) and sent a further ticket in to their cashier verification page, with copies of my original licence, the photocopied certified copy of my licence, and the receipt for the certification process. It has now been almost a fortnight, despite their site claiming the process takes 24-72 hours, and despite yet *another* follow up email to their support, and a chat with a representative on their facebook page, who just gave a generic copy/paste reply to my issue telling me to follow the instructions in the email I'd received...I am seemingly no closer to having my identity verified despite following all of their requirements, and am now not even receiving replies to any messages sent. This is absolutely disgusting behaviour from a casino that allegedly prides itself on the fairness of its practices and helpfulness towards its customers.
